'Hamza' was the first Hausa movie I ever saw (and last) and I'm not certain it really counts as an Hausa/Kannywood movie because most of the dialogue was in English, but for argument sake, let's call it an Hausa movie.
Besides being corny to the extent of being puke-worthy, this movie honestly reminds me of true Nollywood romance movies. After watching this movie, you realize how far our modern definiton of African romance movies have strayed from the original definition.
